Projection is how far fragrance projects. Longevity is how long fragrance lasts. Independent qualities: high projection, low longevity possible. High longevity, low projection also possible. Understanding difference helps choose fragrances for situations. Some fragrances project strongly but fade quickly. Others last long but project subtly.
