Fragrance Care & Storage Guide

How to Store & Care for Your Fragrances

Proper storage ensures your fragrances maintain their integrity and longevity for years to come.

Storage Conditions

Temperature: Keep fragrances between 15-25°C (59-77°F). Avoid extreme heat and cold.

Light: Store in dark places. UV light degrades fragrance. Keep bottles in original boxes when possible.

Humidity: Moderate humidity (40-60%) is ideal. Avoid bathrooms unless well-ventilated.

Bottle Placement

Store fragrances upright to prevent leakage. Keep bottles tightly sealed. Never store in direct sunlight.

Shelf Life

Most fragrances last 3-5 years unopened. Once opened, fragrances typically remain fresh for 2-3 years. Premium concentrations (EDPs and Extraits) last longer than light concentrations (EDTs).

Travel Tips

Use travel atomizers or travel-size bottles. Keep fragrances in padded cases for protection.

Display Options

If displaying your collection, use dark glass shelves or decorative boxes that protect from light.
