How the maths works
One fluid ounce is 29.57 ml. A standard atomiser releases roughly 0.1 ml per spray, so a 3.4 oz bottle holds around 1,000 sprays. Divide the price by total sprays to get cost per spray, multiply by sprays per wear, and you have your real number.
This is why bottle size matters more than sticker price. A 6.7 oz bottle at double the price of a 3.4 oz is identical value per wear — and usually cheaper. It is also why heavy application on an expensive bottle is the fastest way to make a fragrance uneconomical.
